SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — On Sunday, volunteers of ASEZ WAO (which stands for Save the Earth from A to Z- We Are One) raised awareness about the Reduce Plastic Use campaign through educational panels at Onondaga Lake Park.

More than 60 people stopped by to learn about the harmful effects of plastic and practical ways to reduce it in daily lives.

The tabling display is also in preparation for ASEZ WAO’s upcoming cleanup at Onondaga Lake Park next week on September 15th from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This effort is part of ASEZ WAO’s Take Action Project (TAP) that takes the lead in helping people understand sustainable solutions and work together for positive change.
