West Genesee School District announces finalists for superintendent position

Local News

CAMILLUS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The West Genesee Central School District Board of Education released the finalists for the position of superintendent.

The finalists include David Bills, Linda Goewey, and Brian Kesel.

This decision comes after a number of issues within the district including former longtime superintendent Chris Brown resigning from the job after his wife accused him of leaving her for the high school’s principal.

The district never released the results of an investigation, but then fired that principal.

Board President Roberta Herron was recently ousted from her seat, receiving the fewest number of votes of five candidates.

A school bus driver was also forced to retire after he was blamed for allowing a 21-year-old man on a bus that was full of middle schoolers.
