A Wind Advisory is up for all of central New York through 1pm Thursday including the following counties: Lewis, northern Cayuga, Oswego, Chenango, Cortland, Madison, northern Oneida, Onondaga, Seneca, southern Cayuga, southern Oneida, and Tompkins.
The High Wind Warning for Wayne and Jefferson is no longer in effect.
Also the the Flood Watch for Jefferson, Lewis and northern Oneida counties has been canceled as well.
According to The National Weather Service, strong wind gusts 30-50 mph may cause damage to trees and property as well as power lines.
The wind eventually eases Thursday evening.
