The World Video Game Hall of Fame has revealed its class of 2017.

“Donkey Kong,” “Halo: Combat Evolved,” “Pokémon Red and Green,” and “Street Fighter II” have been inducted into the World Video Game Hall of Fame.

The inductees were announced Thursday morning at The Strong National Museum of Play, where the hall of fame was established in 2015.

“This shows how video games span all media,” said Jon-Paul C. Dyson, Director of International Center for the History of Electronic Games. “So you go from the arcade games to consoles to handheld games like Pokemon. It shows how games are broadening out from initially when they were on computers then consoles then handhelds, and extending to all areas of our lives.”

The Strong named 12 finalists for this year’s class in March.

The finalists were: “Donkey Kong,” ”Final Fantasy VII,” ”Halo: Combat Evolved,” ”Microsoft Windows Solitaire,” ”Mortal Kombat,” ”Myst,” ”Pokemon Red and Green,” ”Portal,” ”Resident Evil,” ”Street Fighter II,” ”Tomb Raider” and “Wii Sports.”
