Christmas came a little early at the NYSF

New York State Fair

GEDDES, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — You’ve heard of Christmas in July, but what about Christmas in August? That was the theme at the New York State Fair on Sunday. Santa was there with Dasher and Dancer at the Expo Center, checking up on kids and making sure they’re still on the nice list.

Santa and his helpers may have already headed back to the North Pole, but just before they did, nearly two dozen people dressed up as Santa and ran through an obstacle course as part of the Santalympics. NewsChannel 9’s Andrew Donovan was one of Santa’s helpers, along with Ted and Amy of 93Q, who all served as judges for the Santalympcs.
