GEDDES, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Centro and the fair are making changes this year to make your trip to and from the fair safer. They are allotting more land for drop-off and pick-up sites by moving them out to the Grey Lot. Trams will then take you from those sites throughout the fair.
How to fairgoers feel about the changes? We received mixed reviews at Gate 10.
There are signs for each location where you come in.
Fair Director Troy Waffner described the old set up at the front of the fair as two football teams crashing into each other. This change was made for safety reasons.
“We will have to wait and see. It is better if you are going to the rides, but it is something new, something different. There’s more room so you don’t have to wait in that crowded area up front, which is pretty good,” Gregory Brandt said.
