GEDDES, N.Y. (WSYR-TV)– If you have lost something at The New York State Fair, New York State Police may have it.
The lost and found is located on the west end of the fairgrounds near the Experience Stage.
New York State Police have around 20 cell phones, several sunglasses, wallets and keys people have left behind.
“We are seeing less and less. We have items over the years that are unique. We had a wheelchair last year that was found and we have had as crazy as a prosthetic leg one year,” said Trooper Jack Keller of New York State Police.
If you think you have lost something but can’t get back to the fair, don’t worry. State Police hang on to the items for several weeks before moving them to North Syracuse.
