This week on Newsmakers, the NYS Public Service Commission this week approved the sale of the Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant in Scriba.

On this program, Dan talks with Kevin Caraccioli, attorney for the town of Scriba where the plant is located.

The sale of the plant will preserve Fitzpatrick’s 600 jobs and $500 million in annual economic activity for the region.

We also hear from protestors opposed to the sale and to the $7 billion state subsidy for nuclear energy which made the deal possible.
