Deputies are looking for a man accused of beating his girlfriend after she said she wanted to end their relationship.
According to investigators, in November of 2018, 22-year-old Derrick Robertson’s then-girlfriend reported to police that he hit her in the back of the head with a barstool after she told him she wanted to end their relationship.
He then allegedly grabbed her by the arms and back of the neck, slapped her in the face and left in her vehicle.
Later that evening, as the victim was moving Robertson’s belongings to a storage area, he returned to the apartment and became enraged once again. This time he shoved her down and kicked her in the side of her head, according to deputies.
This was all in violation of an order of protection, according to police.
Robertson has black hair and brown eyes. He is 6’01” and weighs 175 pounds.
He has a tattoo of “D-R” on his left hand. He goes by the nickname “Mook” and last lived at 4574 Onondaga Blvd. with the victim. His prior addresses are on the East and North sides of Syracuse. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY.
