OntheLookout.Net

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – The Syracuse Police Warrant Squad has named Charles Myrtetus, 73, as the Fugitive of the Week. Convicted of 1st degree rape in 1974, Myrtetus is a level 3 sex offender, deemed high risk to reoffend. Syracuse Police say Myrtetus has failed to report a change of address, as required by law.

Syracuse Police Warrant Squad Supervisor Sgt. Mike Smith, says Myrtetus may be living on the streets or in a shelter.  “I believe that being a level 3 sex offender, he’s a dangerous individual who is obviously not following the rules,” says Smith.

There is a felony arrest warrant for Myrtetus who is 5’8, 160 lbs., with blue eyes and gray hair. If you know where detectives can find him, place a confidental call on their tip line at (315) 442-5230.
