Police looking for armed men who robbed Tipp Hill bar, patrons inside

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police are looking for two armed men who robbed a Tipperary Hill bar and its patrons Tuesday morning.

According to police, two men with handguns entered McAvan’s Pub at 1:30 a.m. and demanded money from the cash register and from those inside the bar.

Everyone inside the pub complied with the demands.

There were about five patrons at the bar and employees who were victims. 

The suspects were described as two black males, approximately 5’11” tall, 180 lbs, wearing all dark clothing and black bandanas covering their faces. 

One suspect reportedly had a black handgun, and the other had a silver handgun. 

The suspects left the area on foot in an unknown direction.

There were no injuries reported.
