Onondaga Co. 911 receiving about 100 calls an hour

Checking on conditions in Cayuga County

With all the snow coming down, Onondaga County 911 center has received an average of 100 calls an hour, according to County Executive Joanie Mahoney. 

Mahoney, local State Police Commander Francis Coots and Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould discuss the state of roads and interstates in their area. 

Coots says there are a few accidents on I-81 that have caused lane closures, specifically I-81 SB at Nedrow and I-81 NB at Tully. 

In Cayuga County, Gould says only emergency vehicles area allowed on the roads.
