The 17th-ranked Syracuse Orange women’s basketball team is seeded fifth in the ACC Tournament for the third time in six years.
‘Cuse finished the regular season 22-7 and 11-5 in the Atlantic Coast Conference after Sunday’s win at Boston College.
Syracuse will play the winner of Wednesday’s No. 12/13 matchup between Virginia and Boston College on Thursday, at 11 a.m. on RSN. If the Orange advance, they would play No. 4 seed Miami at 11 a.m. on Friday in the quarterfinals.
Syracuse earned a win over the Cavaliers in their only meeting during the regular season and swept Boston College in both games this year, including a 76-59 win in Sunday’s ACC finale.
The tournament will feature all 15 ACC teams and 14 games, beginning with three first-round matchups on Wednesday. Four second-round games are scheduled for Thursday, followed by the quarterfinals on Friday, the semifinals on Saturday and the championship game on Sunday at noon.
