Paul McCartney impersonator, Crawfish Festival happening this weekend

Looking for something to do in the Syracuse area this weekend?

The Ruddy Well Band has gathered a region legion of well-known friends to record a CD to fight hunger.  They’ll host a CD release party Saturday night at the Palace, with guests like Colin Aberdeen, Dusty Pascal and Tim Herron.  Proceeds from the show and CD sales go to “In My Father’s Kitchen” to feed the homeless.

Clinton Square hosts the 10th annual Crawfish Festival and clambake all day Saturday.  Money raised supports Operation Northern Comfort, which helps families in need rehab, rebuild and repair distressed homes.

Guitar wizards Loren Barrigar and Mark Mazengarb headline this month’s Folkus concert, Friday night at May Memorial on East Genesee Street in Syracuse. 

SAMMY hall-of-famer Bob Halligan Jr. tours the nation as Paul-the-Beatle.  He presents the one-man-show for the first time here in his home town, Friday night at the Palace Theatre, sharing the bill with former Steak Nite mates, the Guthrie Brothers.
