New York State bar and restaurant curfew lifted this Memorial Day

State News

NEW YORK STATE (WSYR-TV) —  Bars and restaurants, as well as catered events can stay open past midnight beginning this Memorial Day.

Governor Andrew Cuomo first put the restriction in place in November 2020 saying at the time that indoor dining in public was likely to blame for spreading COVID-19.

In recent months, he moved the curfew from 10 p.m. to midnight.
