Syracuse men’s lax drops OT game vs. Virginia at the Dome

The Syracuse men’s lacrosse team lost its ACC opener with Virginia 15-14 in overtime Saturday at the Carrier Dome.

The Orange held a 13-9 lead early in the fourth quarter before allowing the No. 13 ranked Cavaliers to mount their comeback.

Both Bradley Voigt and Jacob Buttermore scored three goals for Syracuse. Jamie Trimboli and Stephen Rehfuss each chipped in with two.

The No. 12 ranked Orange are now 2-2 on the season (0-1 ACC). They will play Johns Hopkins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, at the Dome.
