Syracuse women’s basketball picked to finish 7th in ACC

Syracuse University’s 2017-18 women’s basketball team has been selected to finish in seventh place in the Atlantic Coast Conference by the Blue Ribbon Panel and league head coaches. 

Notre Dame was selected to win the league for the fifth straight season while Louisville, Duke, and Florida State round out the top four in both preseason polls.

Since joining the ACC in 2013, SU touts a 49-19 (.703) overall record in league games and has finished no lower than sixth place in the conference. Two seasons ago, they placed third. 

The women’s team opens the 2017-18 season on Friday, Nov. 10 against Morgan State. Tip off is set for 2 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
