If you’re looking to move closer to the city, the Downtown Living Tour happening this weekend gives you the opportunity to explore downtown’s newest and most sought-after living spaces.
“Folks who are interested in historic preservation just love the opportunity to come through some of our historic buildings to see how they were transformed from what they were before into upscale apartments,” said Merike Treier, the Executive Director of the Downtown Committee of Syracuse.
The self-guided tour will take prospective tenants through ten tour stops – both occupied and available units – throughout Armory Square, Clinton Square, the Convention District, the Heart of Downtown, as well as a burgeoning new neighborhood known as Herald Square.
“Because we have such a high occupancy rate, meaning as apartments are being built, there’s a waiting list to move in, people don’t always get a chance to see these apartments,” said Treier.
The tour begins on the ground floor of 110 Walton Street on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
