SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — People driving on Syracuse’s south side will have to start following detour signs next week.

The city says work is scheduled to start Monday on the West Colvin Street bridge over Onondaga Creek, between Kirk Park Drive and Hunt Avenue. The bridge will be closed until early September.

Last year, neighbors gave their ideas on the repairs needed on that bridge in Syracuse.
