A Pennsylvania fisherman, who went missing on Lake Ontario, has been found, according to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.
The body of whom authorities believe to be 56-year-old Mark Deiter was found still in the boat that had sunk.
Deiter was found around 1:42 p.m. on Monday in about 100 feet of water.
Just after 7 p.m. Saturday night, three men had been fishing on Lake Ontario when their boat began taking on water.
Two passengers jumped from the boat, but Deiter was still on board when it went completely under.
The two passengers that jumped off the boat used floatation devices and a cooler to float. They were rescued by other fisherman around 7:00pm.
The body was taken to the Onondaga County Medical Examiner for a positive identification.
