SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — NewsChannel 9 has learned that less than a year into his new job in Albany, State Senator Bob Antonacci plans to run for State Supreme Court Justice.
Other the weekend, Antonacci was awarded the Independence Party’s nomination. He already had the Republican and Conservative Parties’ endorsements.
Antonacci is running for one of three open seats in the Supreme Court’s Fifth District, which covered six counties of Central New York.
Judge Bernadette Romano Clark is running for re-election.
The Democrats will meet Tuesday to decide their candidates.
