SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – The owner of the Valley Plaza in Syracuse is still looking for a tenant to take over the space formerly used by Tops.
Tops closed last year, leaving the neighborhood without any grocery stores.
An emailer wrote the Your Stories team, asking what the status of the vacant store is.
A spokesperson for the City of Syracuse tells NewsChannel 9 that the plaza’s owners are actively working to lease the space, but hasn’t shared how far along that process is or names of prospective tenants.
The Your Stories team will keep watching the status of this project.
