“Woody’s on 37” brings horseshoe tournaments to Brewerton: Your Stories

Your Stories

BREWERTON, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Your Stories team has learned that a recreational horseshoe facility is set to open this weekend in Brewerton.

The new business, named “Woody’s on 37,” is almost done being built on Route 37, across from the Wild Horse Bar and Grill.

The Town of Hastings Planning Department tells the Your Stories team that the owner of what was vacant land is building the facility, which will have four pits inside and four pits outside.

Corn hole championships can also be held at the facility.

The town couldn’t say if each pit can be rented out like a single lane at a bowling alley, or if the business will host one big event at a time.

“Woody’s on 37” is inviting people to its Facebook page to sign up for tournaments.
