(UPDATE 8/3/2022 10:30 p.m.) — New York State Police say they have arrested 32-year-old Andrew J. Bell for robbing the NBT Bank of Baldwinsville on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

Bell was also arrested for robbing the Solvay Bank in North Syracuse on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.


(WSYR-TV) — New York State Police are asking for help from our NewsChannel 9 viewers in finding a white man who is a suspect in robbing the NBT Bank of Baldwinsville, located at the intersection of Rt. 31 and Willett Parkway in the town of Lysander.

The man was last seen leaving the bank on foot on July 22, 2022, at 4:15 p.m. towards Willet Parkway (Radisson Development). He was seen wearing a blue surgical mask, baseball cap, and a grey camouflage zip-up jacket.

Police say he walked into the bank and handed a note to the teller demanding money, but no weapon was shown.
