State Trooper spots wanted vending machine thief entering State Fair

GEDDES, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — An alleged vending machine thief has been arrested by New York State Police after a Trooper at the State Fair recognized him entering the gates.

Monday evening, 58-year-old Walter Bush of Tonawanda (near Buffalo) was charged with grand larceny.

He was easily recognized because high-quality cameras caught him stealing from a milk vending machine in what appears to the be Dairy Cattle Building at the New York State Fairgrounds.

Once NewsChannel 9 put the community “On The Lookout” for the man, his photos were shared on social media hundreds of times.

He was sent to the Onondaga County Justice Center Jail.
