Syracuse Police looking for person who damaged cars at Alan Byer Auto Sales

On the Lookout

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Syracuse Police are putting you on the lookout for the person that has been damaging new cars along automobile row.

On July 29th, a surveillance camera caught a man in the act.

Senior CID Detective Jeffrey Beauchine has the case and says the man in the photo was caught on camera damaging a vehicle in the Alan Byer Auto Sales lot in the 1200-block of West Genesee Street in Syracuse. Police really want to identify him as part of a bigger investigation.  

Over the past month, there have been a series of criminal mischief cases to local businesses,

and they seem to be focused in this area, where automotive dealerships line West Genesee Street in the city.
