CENTRAL NEW YORK (WSYR-TV) — COVID-19. That’s the common denominator. First toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and some food items were hard to find at the supermarket. Then laptops, printers, and other tech items, then lumber.

We talked recently to an expert on supply chain management, Patrick Penfield, of Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management to find out what is going on.
