#2 Virginia rolls past Syracuse on Senior Night at the Dome

#2 Virginia could not miss from behind the arc, hitting a Carrier Dome record 18 threes, as the Cavaliers rolled to a 79-53 win over Syracuse on Monday night.

For the 5th straight game, Syracuse led at halftime, only to have UVA outscore the Orange 47-19 in the second half.

Kyle Guy led the way for Virginia, pouring in a game-high 25 points.  Guy finished the night 8-10 from three-point range.

New Rochelle native Ty Jerome added 16 points and 14 assists for UVA.

As a team, Virginia finished the game 18-25 (72%) from three.

Syracuse was led by Buddy Boeheim, Tyus Battle and Elijah Hughes.  The trio each scored 11 points in the loss.

SU drops to 19-11 overall (10-7 in the ACC).

The Orange closes out the regular season on Saturday at Clemson.
