ALBANY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – The long wait is over for Albany Academy basketball recruit Andre Jackson.
The 6’6″ forward has chosen to continue his athletic career at UConn, not Syracuse.
The Orange pursued Jackson for quite some time, with him visiting campus in August. But two weeks ago, Jackson made an official visit to UConn and shortly after that cancelled a potential Iowa trip. Just a few week later, he made his decision official by choosing the Huskies.
Jackson is considered a Top 50 recruit by ESPN. He chooses UConn over Syracuse, Iowa, UCLA and Maryland.
