(WSYR-TV) — The 2019 NFL season is still months away from kickoff, but the league released the season schedule today.
Buffalo will be playing on Thanksgiving in Jerry’s world. The Bills face the Cowboys on Nov. 28 at 4:30 p.m.
Week 1 will be a battle of sophomore quarterbacks. Josh Allen will lead the Bills against Sam Darnold and the Jets at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8
What better way to start the season than to play your biggest rival? The New York Giants will open their season against the Dallas Cowboys at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8
New York will square off with the defending champion Patriots in Week 6 on Thursday Night Football.

Sam Darnold and the Jets will get an early Week 4 bye, but will start off their season with the Bills Week 1.
New York will host the emerging Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football in Week 2.
