BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) –
After a strong showing at the Elite Camp hosted by Syracuse, Baldwinsville rising sophomore JJ Starling has received a verbal offer from the Orange.
Nottingham boys basketball assistant coach Antwan Ballinger, who also coaches the Kings of New York 17U team told News Channel 9 that Starling first announced the offer via Snapchat. The Bees standout later confirmed his social media post to Ballinger.
Syracuse is the second verbal offer that Starling has received this year. Back in May Siena offered the class of 2022 Bees guard.
This past season JJ Starling averaged nearly 21 points a game as a freshman at Baldwinsville.
