Baldwinsville senior to be Jason Savacool is having a very successful summer. Savacool has been in front of MLB scouts for the past month and succeeding.
The Maryland commit was among 80 high school players in Florida for three weeks playing in the MLB Prospect Development Pipeline. He then was selected to be a High school All-Star and opened the MLB All-Star weekend playing at Progressive Field on July 6th.
Savacool still has a summer tournament to come with Canes National 17U in late July and two more prospect showcases in late July and early August.
He will finish his summer trying out for the 18U National Team, hoping to make the roster of 20 high schoolers that play in the 2019 World Baseball Softball Confederation U-18 Baseball World Cup in Gijang City, South Korea, from August 30-September 8.
The trials run from August 13-17 in Los Angeles.
