Cicero native Joel Farabee set to make NHL debut with the Philadelphia Flyers

PHILADELPHIA, P.A. (WSYR-TV) –

The dream of playing in the NHL is about to become a reality for Cicero native Joel Farabee.

On Sunday the Philadelphia Flyers called-up their first round pick of the 2018 NHL Draft.

Farabee will likely make his NHL debut on Monday against former CNY standout Alex Tuch and the Vegas Golden Knights.

That game will be in Philadelphia and will start at 7 p.m. on the NHL Network.

In four games this season in the AHL with Lehigh Valley, Farabee scored three goals and had an assist.

The 19-year old spent last season playing at Boston University where he had 17 goals in 37 games.
