The Syracuse Mets will host a fundraising event which will give fans a chance to meet the 2019 Syracuse Mets players and coaching staff.
The event will be held on Tuesday, April 2, at Embassy Suites Destiny USA. The dinner will benefit the Challenger Baseball League, RBI Baseball League, and District 8 Little League.
Tickets for the event are $75 for adults and $45 for children 12 and under. Fans will be randomly seated at a table with at least one player and/or coach for the Mets.
This opportunity was announced at the 6th annual open house at NBT Bank Stadium. A record number of people attended Saturday’s event, getting the chance to hit the batting cages, get their season tickets and their Syracuse Mets gear.
The General Manager for the team, Jason Smorol, also revealing several new features for the upcoming season. That includes new food and a new app where fans can find where their friends are sitting.
“We’re never going to stop. We are always going to do what we can do to interact and make our experience here at the Syracuse mets better for the fans,” Smorol said.
Opening day for the Syracuse Mets is Thursday, April 4. They’ll be playing the Pawtucket Red Sox.
