New York Mets to hold final workout of spring training inside the Carrier Dome

The New York Mets will hold their final spring training workout of the 2019 season inside the Carrier Dome.

Among the New York Mets players scheduled to be in Syracuse for the workout are Jacob deGrom, Robinson Canó and Noah Syndergaard. Mets COO Jeff Wilpon, General Manager Brodie Van Wagenen and Manager Mickey Callaway will also be at the event.

During the workout, the team will take batting and infield practice and pitchers will throw their bullpens, all out on the Dome turf.  

The event will include appearances by Mr. Met, the Mets Perk Patrol, and Scooch, as well as in-park player and fan interviews.

The event, taking place on Tuesday, March 26 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., is free and open to the public.

Gates open at 11 a.m.

Free parking will be available at Sky Top at Syracuse University where buses will shuttle fans to the Dome. 

Tickets for the Syracuse Mets games are already on sale.
