SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Syracuse Mets open their season Tuesday night April 5 at 6:35 p.m. when they host the Scranton Rail Riders.

Here is a listing of what you need to know for the game.

  • The game is at 6:35
  • Gates open at 5:30 PM
  • Taco Tuesday – 3 tacos for $10
  • The first 1000 fans get a bucket hat
  • Mets great Mookie Wilson will be at the game and sign autographs on the concourse from 7 – 8 p.m.
  • Post-Game Fireworks
  • New to stadium
    • Pavone’s Pizza
    • Danny’s steaks
    • No draft in main concession stands – all 16 oz cans (to speed up service to help move lines faster)
    • Draft beer still available at beer carts and bar locations
  • Parking – $7 and Credit Card only (to speed up service of getting into lots)
  • Still accept cash at all other areas of the stadium
  • Tailgating is allowed in parking lots
  • The stadium clear bag policy is in effect

  • All you can eat Wednesdays ($30 includes a ticket to the game and 90 minute all you can eat buffet on Salt City Deck)
