In a battle of the sport’s two most-winningest programs, it was Syracuse that came out on top beating Johns Hopkins 14-10 Saturday at the Carrier Dome.
Jacob Buttermore scored two of the Orange’s six goals in the fourth quarter to cap off the game. Buttermore finished with three goals on the day.
Bradley Voigt, Peter Dearth and Jamie Trimboli each had two goals for Syracuse.
Syracuse (3-2) plays Rutgers at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, at the Carrier Dome.
