Ever wondered what it would be like to enjoy the zoo without the kids? Wonder no longer! “Brew at the Zoo and Wine Too” is happening at Rosamond Gifford Zoo, where zoo-goers 21 and over can enjoy different beers and wines from central New York on Sunday July 28th.
Proceeds from this event will go right back to caring for the animals at the zoo, according to Brittany Waszkiewicz, Events Manager at Friends of the Zoo. “It’s definitely a party for a cause,” said Waszkiewicz.
With ten food stations coming to the zoo, the event is sure to be an enjoyable evening for beer and wine-lovers while they taste what central New York has to offer.
Along with Brew at the Zoo, another event will take place called Birdies Before Brews with a 1:30pm shotgun start at Burnet Golf Course on August 2nd.
This tournament is open to groups of four and will also benefit the zoo.
Advance tickets for Brew at the Zoo are $55 and $65 at the door. Birdies Before Brews golf tournament is $200 per golfer or $800 for a group of four, which includes greens fees, golf carts, and a VIP reception that will be 21+.
