Ithaca Police investigating Sunday morning shots fired call

ITHACA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – The Ithaca Police Department is investigating after a shots-fired call early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the corner of South Plain Street and Cleveland Avenue around 1:40 a.m. and saw a large crowd, near the Southside Community Center.

Evidence was located at the scene that indicated a shooting occurred, however, officers did not locate a victim or suspect at the scene.

Ithaca Police say their investigation is ongoing.
