Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today signed legislation naming a portion of the State Highway System in Oneida County in honor of Officer Kevin F. Crossley.

The bill designates a portion of State Route 69 in the Village of Whitesboro as the “Officer Kevin F. Crossley Memorial Highway.”

“Officer Crossley dedicated his career to serving his community and he put his life on the line every day to protect the people of Whitesboro,” Governor Cuomo said. “Designating a portion of State Route 69 in Officer Crossley’s name will ensure his sacrifice is remembered and honored for generations to come.”

On April 11, 2018, Officer Kevin F. Crossley, a dedicated and beloved police officer in the Village of Whitesboro, tragically lost his life while on duty protecting his community. This designation recognizes and honors the sacrifice made by Officer Crossley who was a seven-year veteran of the Whitesboro Police Department and a life-long village resident.
