SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – The City of Syracuse will begin road work on along Brighton Avenue Monday, July 15.
Crews from the Department of Public Works are scheduled to start removing the top layer of existing pavement, milling and paving Brighton Avenue between Thurber Street and State Street.
The project is expected to be completed in about a week but is contingent on favorable weather.
Temporary lane and road closures will occur and detours will be marked.
Sections of Brighton Avenue, South Crouse Avenue, Comstock Avenue, and Waverly Avenue will be resurfaced.
