A comfortable start to September

Weather

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) September looks to start out on the cooler side for the first 2 weeks of the month.

The Climate Prediction Center in Washington, D.C. is forecasting temperatures through September 11th to be at or a bit below normal for the northeastern quarter of the United States, east of the Rockies.

The NewsChannel 9 Planning Forecast supports this as we turn the page from August to September.

This includes Central New York.

If this verifies, it will mean a comfortable start to school for kids who sometimes have to deal with lingering hot air from the summer months as they head back to school.
