ISS captures images of 'enormous' Hurricane Florence

SPACE (WROC) - Video and photos from the International Space Station show the immense size of Hurricane Florence, the storm bearing down on the east coast.

Forecasters expect the hurricane to make landfall later this week with the Carolinas and Virginia in its path.

The International Space Station captured images of the storm as it passed over on Wednesday.

From NASA: "A high definition camera outside the International Space Station captured a stark and sobering view of Hurricane Florence at 7:50 a.m. EDT on Sept. 12."
