SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) I hope you got to where you were going safely this morning with the thick fog. Boy, it was tough to see much beyond 100 yards or so.
This is a popular time of year for fog in Central New York and it can be thick at times.
I love this satellite loop of this morning’s fog. You can clearly see not only how localized the fog is, but how its favored development is in the Mohawk Valley and the river valleys of the Southern Tier.
I would tuck this satellite loop into your favorites. It’s a go-to of mine whether a morning like this or any other time you would need a high resolution check on our weather.
I’m looking forward to some sun Monday afternoon.
