SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) I know, I know, we won’t be surprised about snow over the next few months.
You have to admit, there is something magical about the first snow of the season.
The timelapse of snow in Pompey is from our Tower. You can see Live Doppler 9 in the foreground which is constantly scanning the skies to let us know what to expect in the next few hours.
The snow is not going to be a big deal. Storm Team meteorologist Lindsay Raychel alluded to that on NewsChannel 9 at Noon.
The big story is that you will want to pull out the hats and gloves. It will be quite a bit colder by Friday morning, with temperatures and northwest winds making it feel like it’s in the teens!
A little hint…there is another shot of arctic air that will arrive next week, which could be even colder than what we feel Friday.
