Missed it by that much; Ida’s rain slides south of Central New York

Storm Team Headlines

(WSYR-TV) — Fortunately, most of Central New York is a spectator to what will be a historical rain event today.

Fortunate because our soil is waterlogged from our wet summer.

Central New York is right on the northern fringe of the rain shield associated with what was once Hurricane Ida. Several inches of rain are likely to fall over the next 24 hours in Pennsylvania.

The NewsChannel 9 Storm Team is keeping an eye on that rain shield.
