Wildfires in Canada causing hazy skies in CNY

Weather

You may have noticed a bit of a milky white haze in the sky the last few days. This is smoke from wildfires in parts of Ontario, Alberta, and even Manitoba, Canada.

Many places in the northeast have been experiencing a haze in the sky as a result of the wildfire smoke. The smoke gets picked up by the jet stream and gets sent towards CNY.

This is why we had such a red sunrise Wednesday morning.
