SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – NewsChannel 9’s weekly What’s Going Around report checks in with Central New York doctors to find out what illnesses they’ve been treating.
Lots of people are suffering from allergies right now.
In Camillus, Dr. Rovall says kids are congested and stuffy. They’re also seeing strep throat, croup and also fifth disease, which is a viral rash that looks like that child’s cheeks were slapped.
Out in Auburn, the doctors are checking in with allergies, upper respiratory infections, sinusitis, viral and strep throats.
Allergies are also bothering kids to the south of Syracuse. That’s the only thing on the list at Brighton Hill Pediatrics.
In Liverpool, Dr. Dracker is seeing colds, upper respiratory infections, rashes, and tick bites.
Tick bites are also sending people to the Urgent Care in Fulton. Other patients have sinusitis.
Up in Pulaski, Dr. Carguello is reporting upper respiratory infections and lots of ticks.
